Blind Cricket World Cup: India thrash Nepal by 8 wickets


Eden Garden, CG Ajman, India continued their winning streak beating Nepal by eight wickets to enter semi-finals of the Blind Cricket World Cup here on Sunday.India will play against Bangladesh in the semi-finals on Wednesday. Nepal won the toss and elected to bat. India's strong bowling attack and brilliant fielding restricted Nepal from posing a challenging target restricted Nepal for 156 in 37.5 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. For India Prakash Jayaramiah took 2 wickets in 6 overs and gave 22 runs while Skipper Ajay Reddy, Rambir, Prem Kumar and Jafar Iqbal took a Wicket each. India chased the modest target in just 157 overs by losing 2 wickets. Ajay Gariya scored 54 of 29 balls and hit 6 fours and Mehender unbeaten 40 in 30 balls and Rambir unbeaten 38 in 23 balls helped India to cruise to victory comfortably.
