‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ pays heartfelt tribute to speech therapist Vishal Rao

New Delhi, Five weeks into its launch and Zee TV’s ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ season 3 has already captured hearts of the audience with the funkiness and nautanki performances. Along with an unlimited dose of entertainment, the show also salutes the unsung heroes of India by narrating their inspiring stories through a dramatized skit. The upcoming episode will highlight accomplishments of a doctor and social worker, Dr Vishal Rao, who provides speech therapy to the differently abled. While practising medicine, Vishal realised that many differently abled people face difficulty with their speech and talking abilities. And that was the moment, he decided to invent a good quality, cost-effective voice box for such people and change their lives for good. During the episode, dramebaaz Deepali and Soham paid a tribute to Dr Rao by bringing alive an incident from his life. While Soham essayed the role of Vishal, Deepali played the role of a patient’s mother. Following the act, Dr Vishal was asked to grace the stage and share a few anecdotes from his stimulating journey. He said, “I am truly touched by the honour and I am glad that more and more people are coming forward and wanting to help the people who are in need. It feels great to see eminent personalities like Vivek Oberoi doing some great work for the betterment of the society.” Touched by Dr. Rao’s story, mentor Omung Kumar shared, “I am so proud of your achievements Dr. Rao. Real life stories truly inspire me and I find a strong connect with them. I have always tried to bring it alive such moving stories in my biopics. We need more people like you in this country.” Mentor Huma Qureshi added saying, “People like Dr. Rao are an inspiration to millions out there. The work that you’re doing for the nation is truly incredible. This is what I love the most about our show India’s Best Dramebaaz. Every week we learn something new and get to know of an unheard story.”
