Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh State Archery Academy’s Muskan Kirar bagged silver medal in Compound Women’s team event in the World Cup Stage II held at Antalya of Turkey, from May 20 to 26.She represented the Indian team along with Andhra Pradesh’s archer Jyothi Surekha and Divya Dhyal of Haryana in the World Cup. Talented archer of State Academy, Muskan performed really well.
Her team scored 228 points out of 240 and bagged silver medal. While, Chinese Taipei with 231 points stood first and Korea finished at third with 227 points.
On this achievement, State Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia congratulated Muskan Kirar for winning silver medal for the country in the World Cup Stage-2 and gave her best wishes for performing well in future too.
Appreciating the glorious performance of Muskan, she said that the archer of the MP Archery Academy Muskan has made the country and state proud by bagging silver medal in the World Cup.
Director, Sports and Youth Welfare Dr S L Thaosen expressed happiness on this laurel achieved by player Muskan and gave her best wishes. Notably, Muskan Kirar, who has been receiving archery training at Madhya Pradesh Archery Academy, Jabalpur, from since 2016 has also bagged gold and bronze medal in Asia Cup at Thailand.
In the 37th All-Junior National Archery Championship held in Bhubaneswar, Muskan stood as champion by winning gold medal. Muskan Kirar, who has also represented the country in the 20th Asian Championship held in Dhaka and Asia Cup at Taipei, is taking training under Chief Instructor and Technical Advisor, Richpal Singh Salaria.
