Various competitions for children to be organised in Raj Bhavan

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal The Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel said that children have talents and skills besides educational competency. Children should be encouraged after understanding their skills. She mentioned that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a slogan of Khelo Bharat to give opportunity to the students to display their talents. This was said by the Governor during her meeting with the girls of Bal Niketan and children of Raj Bhavan’s employees, who were invited specially by her on Tuesday. While inaugurating the children’s programme, she got the lamp lighted by the little kids. On this occasion, the Governor awarded girl students of Bal Niketan namely Ku. Priti Bharti, Ku. Manisha Bharti, who hold interest in painting, singers Ku. Mahima Tiwari, Ku. Juhi Tiwari and Rohit Singhania, the participant of National Karate competition besides Raju Singhania, who participated in state level boxing competition, by presenting them cheques and gifts. Smt. Patel mentioned that parents normally do not know the hidden talents of their child. She stated that the children have been invited to the Raj Bhavan with an objective to understand and promote their talents and skills. She further said that a special attention is paid in our country only on children’s education. Attention is not paid on their interest in sports and to provide them an opportunity to exhibit their talents, she added. Moreover, Smt. Patel stated that painting, singing and competitions based on science subjects will be organized in the Raj Bhavan after the examinations. She said that the children have been invited here with an aim to present them a platform to exhibit their talents and skills. Ku. Priti Bharti and Ku. Manisha Bharti showed paintings made by them on shawl, stole and umbrella besides other clothes to the Governor. Children presented bhajan, dear to Gandhi Ji, Saraswati vandana, prayer and other songs. The Governor fondled the children and praised the programme conducted by Master Dharmendra Malviya.
