Farmers worry over cloudy sky, possible rains

Bhopal, Feb 16: 
Due to cyclone condition developed in the upper strata of Eastern Madhya Pradesh there may be rains in eastern part of the state. The recent hailstorm and rains has damaged crops in these areas to a great extent. The clouds formed in the sky may prove damaging to the farmers.
According to meteorological department light rains may occur at several places during the next 24 hours in Rewa, Sagar and Jabapur divisions. During the last 24 hours light rains occurred at several places in Rewa, Jabalpur and Hoshangabad divisions. Dindori recorded maximum 1 cm rains during this period.
Meteorological department said that heavy rains are ruled out but light rains and drizzles would occur. There is no chance of hailstorm at present.
Maximum 30 degrees Celsius was recorded in the state capital during the day while minimum temperature recorded last night was 14 degrees Celsius. On Tuesday the sky over the state capital was cloudy almost throughout the day. Weather office said that the sky would be cloudy on Wednesday too and no change in maximum and minimum temperature is expected.
