118 aid trucks sent to Gaza from Jordan during last week

Amman, (UNI) The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) announced on Sunday that 118 trucks carrying humanitarian aid entered the Gaza Strip during the week that ended on Saturday.

The aid, provided by the Jordanian Armed Forces and JHCO, includes ready-to-eat meals, food and hygiene parcels, clothing, blankets, medical supplies, tents, mattresses, and blood units.

It will be distributed by partner organizations in Gaza. JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Shibli stated that aid convoys are sent weekly from the charity’s and its partners’ warehouses.

So far, 3,150 trucks of humanitarian aid have been sent to Gaza via various land crossings, said Shibli.
