Patna, Aug 28 (UNI) In a major reshuffle, the Bihar government transferred 14 senior Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers, whereas it deployed 11 others in the general administration department.
According to a notification issued on Wednesday, Saran principal commissioner Sumit Kumar has been made Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) of West Champaran, Khagaria DDC Preeti has been made municipal commissioner of Bhagalpur, Bihar Sharif sub divisional officer Abhishek Kumar Palasia of Nalanda has been made DDC Khagaria, municipal commissioner Yatendra Kumar Pal of Rohtas has been made DDC Saran, and Priyanka Rani DDC of Saran has been shifted to Nawada in the same capacity.
Muzaffarpur municipal commissioner Naveen Kumar was transferred to Gaya as DDC, whereas DDC of Bhojpur Vikram Virkar has been made Muzaffarpur municipal commissioner, Bagha sub divisional officer of West Champaran Anupama Singh has been shifted to Bhojpur as DDC, and Nawada DDC Deepak Kumar Mishra has been made Nalanda municipal commissioner.
As per the notification, 11 IAS officers who have been sent to the general administration department would be waiting for posting.
