16 trains will be cancelled in Sep due to interlocking work

  • Important trains including Vande Bharat will be cancelled
  • 12 out of 16 trains run through Bhopal

Railway’s development work has once again become a cause of trouble for passengers. Especially for passengers going to Delhi, due to connecting the Dedicated Freight Corridor to the main line, the operation of 16 trains passing through Bhopal is going to be badly affected in September.

In such a situation, those passengers have faced the most problems, who had already got confirmed tickets for the trains.

In the coming September, a total of 40 trains passing through all the divisions from Jhansi will be affected. Out of these, 16 trains passing through Bhopal division have been cancelled for a maximum of 12 days, while it has been decided to change the route of 24 trains.

Railway officials of Bhopal division said that more than 20 thousand passengers who had made advance reservations in these trains are having to cancel their tickets. However, the railways are giving 100 percent refund on cancellation of tickets of cancelled and diverted trains.

These important trains are cancelled

Railways cancelled the operation of 16 trains including Rani Kamlapati- Hazrat Nizamuddin, Vande Bharat Express, Bhopal Express, Patalkot Express, Malwa Express, Gondwana Express, Shridham Express in the second week of September.

Due to non-interlocking work at Palwal station of Northern Railway, the operation of about 16 trains may be affected. On cancellation of tickets of such trains, passengers are refunded as per rules.
