Moscow, Mar 9 (UNI) The United States insists on softening the wording regarding Russia in the communique following the upcoming meeting of G7 foreign ministers, Bloomberg reported, citing sources.
Canada, which is chairing the G7 this year, will host a summit of foreign ministers next week in Charlevoix, Quebec.
In negotiations on formulating a final statement on shipping issues, the US insists on tightening the wording regarding China, while softening the wording regarding Russia, the agency reported, citing sources.
According to a draft of the document, Washington insists on removing the word “sanctions” regarding Moscow from the communique.
In addition, according to Bloomberg’s sources, the US has spoken out against the creation of a task force on courts that the West linked to Russia.
