Jerusalem, Nov. 3 (UNI) Two Israeli soldiers were killed on Saturday in the city of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement.
Israel’s state-owned Kan TV News reported that the two soldiers from the Givati infantry brigade were killed by an explosive device during an operation inside a building. Another Givati soldier was seriously injured in the blast, according to the IDF.
On Friday, a Givati officer died from wounds sustained in mid-September, after being seriously injured by an explosion in a building in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip. Four other Israeli soldiers were also killed in that incident.
The IDF reported that 780 Israeli soldiers have been killed since the conflict with Hamas and Hezbollah began in October last year.
