Program Director of Chandrayaan-3 and Chief Architect of Vande-Bharat Train will be honored
Bhopal: Science and Technology, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Shri Omprakash Sakhalecha said on Saturday that with the celebration of the success of Chandrayaan 3, Madhya Pradesh. The 10th Bhopal Science Fair will be held at BHEL Dussehra Ground, under the joint aegis of Science and Technology Council and Vigyan Bharti from 15 to 18 September.
Minister Shri Sakhalecha said that Bhopal Science Fair has created its own unique identity in Madhya Pradesh as well as in the entire country, in which people are made aware of the progress and innovations of science and technology at the grass root as well as at the state and national level. Thousands of students, researchers, teachers, artisans, farmers, entrepreneurs, scientists, officers and common people participate in the fair. Various departments of the Central and State Government, research institutes, industries and educational institutions participate in it. Various science based activities take place in the fair. This year’s Bhopal Science Fair is on the theme “Science, Technology and Innovation Amritkal”.
Advanced technologies and innovations will be showcased
This year too, the Bhopal Science Fair was informed about the latest progress in the field of science and technology through latest technologies, student-scientist interaction, model contest, grass root and innovative artisan pavilion, waste management pavilion, handicraft pavilion, startup pavilion etc. will go.
The main attraction in the program will be the latest technologies and products displayed by Atomic Energy, ISRO, DRDO Brahmos, NTPC, CSIR, ICMR, ICAR, AMPR, Council of Science and Technology and industries. To promote village root innovation and innovation, students from numerous big institutions will showcase their innovation ideas and models in the Student Model Contest. Various types of technical solutions will also be presented here by new entrepreneurs and startups. Every year in the fair, top scientists of the country and eminent personalities from different fields will interact and provide guidance to the students and cultural programs will also be held every day.
Top scientists will be honored
Science and Technology Minister Shri Sakhalecha has said that to celebrate the unprecedented achievement of Chandrayaan-3, three personalities of the country including the director associated with this mission will be honored in the Bhopal Science Fair. The 10th Bhopal Science Fair will be held from 15 to 18 September 2023 at BHEL Dussehra Ground.
While discussing with the media on Saturday, Minister Shri Sakhalecha said that the country’s top scientist, who has established India strongly in the field of science and technology in the whole world and made the country feel proud, is Dr. P., Mission Director of Chandrayaan-3. Along with Veeramuthuvel, ISRO Bangalore, Chief Architect of Vande Bharat, Shri Sudhanshu Mani, Dr. Rama Jayasundar of AIIMS Delhi will also be honored with the Science Talent Award.
Bhopal Science Fair is unique
This science fair is being organized in the name of Bhopal city for the last 10 years, which has created a unique identity in Bhopal as well as at the state, country and international level. Probably, this science fair is the only one organized on a large scale in the name of the city, in which students, researchers, teachers, artisans, farmers, entrepreneurs, scientists, officers and general public are eager to participate.
The Bhopal Science Fair will be inaugurated and concluded in the presence of heads of top scientific institutions of the state and the country, in which along with scientists, student talents will also be honoured.
