6.2-magnitude quake hits Afghan

Kabul, Oct 7 (UNI) An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 jolted northwestern Afghanistan at 0641 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 34.77 degrees north latitude and 62.03 degrees east longitude.
