Administrative Correspondent, Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, taking cognizance of the case of beating of an elderly woman and child by the policemen of Thana GRP Katni in an old video going viral on social media, had directed DIG Railway to investigate. On being found guilty in the preliminary investigation, the then station in-charge Aruna Vahane along with head constable Ajay Srivastava and four constables Varsha Dubey, Omkar Sirsam, Soheb Abbasi and Salman Khan have been suspended with immediate effect. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has directed the police officers to ensure in future that such misconduct is not repeated in the state.
