70 Dishes to be Served at Global Investors Summit, Featuring Dal Bafla

  • Indore’s Hing Kachori, Ujjain’s Kulfi, Thai Delicacies, and Litti Chokha on the Menu

Bhopal: Bhopal is set to host the Global Investors Summit (GIS) on February 24-25 at the Manav Sangrahalaya, bringing together over 30,000 business leaders, including top industrialists like Ambani, Adani, Mahindra, Tata, and Birla. International investors from Japan, Spain, and Hong Kong will also attend. To welcome them, the MP Tourism Board has curated a lavish spread of over 70 dishes, showcasing both local and global flavors.

A Grand Culinary Showcase

Guests will be greeted with masala buttermilk and tomato-coriander sorbet. The menu features an array of dishes from Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Punjab, and South India, alongside Thai and Chinese specialties. Signature MP dishes include Malwa’s Dal Bafla, Nimar’s Dal Paniya, and traditional flavors from Bundelkhand and Baghelkhand.

VVIP Dinner at Hotel Taj

A special VVIP dinner is scheduled for February 23 at Hotel Taj for 250 select industrialists, hosted by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The main lunches on February 24 and 25 will take place at the summit venue, with a grand cultural gala dinner on February 24.

Savoring India’s Regional Delights

The diverse menu highlights five types of chaat, including Hing, potato, and onion kachoris. Guests can also enjoy mushroom and broccoli khichdi, an assortment of parathas, and a rich selection of 15 sweets. Delicacies like Mal Pua, Jalebi-Rabri, Malai Sandwich, and Kudki’s sugar-free kheer promise a memorable experience.

Punjabi Tadka brings Amritsari paneer, Dal Dhaba, and Methi Matar Malai, while Bihar’s iconic Litti Chokha adds to the variety. International selections include Wild Berry Cheesecake, Thai curry, Jasmine Rice, and Chinese specialties.

Focus on Coarse Grains and Traditional Cooking

To promote healthy and traditional cooking, the menu includes Makka Roti with Sarso Ka Saag and fresh Bajra, Kodo, and Jowar rotis, prepared over open embers. Special spices and ingredients sourced from Mumbai, Pune, and abroad will enhance the authenticity of flavors.

A Summit of Culinary and Business Excellence

With major industrialists and international guests arriving, Bhopal is leaving no stone unturned in hospitality. Chief Minister Yadav will personally host select investors at dinner on February 23. The summit aims to showcase MP’s cultural richness through its cuisine while strengthening global business ties.
