- 39 point demands include restoration of old pension of employees

More than three lakh employees belonging to six major employee organizations will go on a day-long office shutdown strike on August 25 for 39-point demands including grade-pay reform and restoration of old pension.
For the preparation of this strike, the employees held a gate meeting on Friday during the lunch break at District Court Bhopal, Directorate of Public Works and Women and Child Development. Here the employee leaders said that even after the phased movement, the Madhya Pradesh government is not paying attention to the demands. That’s why now the movement will be intensified.
Casual leave will be taken
State President of front Jitendra Singh, District President of Third Class Employees Union Mohan Iyer, State Secretary Umashankar Tiwari, State President of District Court Employees Union Neeraj Srivastava, President of Corporation Board Anil Vajpayee, President of Public Works Department Clerks Union Ratnesh Saundhiya, while addressing, appealed to make the strike a success by taking casual leave on 25th August.
Joint call of the movement
Madhya Pradesh Adhikari Karmachari Sangh Morcha, third class, clerk, driver employee, pensioner and two other employee organizations have given a joint call for the movement. Umashankar Tiwari, State Secretary of the Third Class Employees Union, said that an appeal has been made by holding a gate meeting to make the one-day strike successful.
