Bhopal: Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari today said that the farmer is no longer just Annadata (provider of food), along with him he is also Urjadata (provider of energy).
Gadkari had come to Khandwa to flag off the Jan Ashirwad Yatra of Bharatiya Janata Party. During this he addressed the yatra ceremony. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and state unit president of the party Vishnudutt Sharma were also present at the function.
Gadkari said that the welfare of villages, poor laborers and farmers is the specialty of the BJP. The goal of making the farmer an energy donor is being accomplished under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said that recently he launched Toyota Innova which runs on ethanol. Now ethanol is being made from different agricultural products. Recently, for the first time, an airplane was operated with the energy obtained from the farmers. Bitumen is being prepared from stubble and roads are now being made from it. In this way farmers are now becoming Urjadata.
Shri Gadkari said that the fuel of the future is hydrogen. He expressed confidence that Madhya Pradesh would be the first state in the state to produce green hydrogen.
During this, he praised the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan and said that in the history of the country, if anyone has got the first rank in the agriculture sector seven times in the last 7 years, then Madhya Pradesh has got it under the leadership of Shivraj ji. The area under irrigation and production have increased, due to which the villages have become prosperous and prosperous. At one time, Madhya Pradesh was discussed among Bimaru states. Today there is discussion in developed states. The development that happened till now was a trailer. The real movie is yet to start.
Smart villages will be developed
Gadkari said that as smart cities are being developed, similarly smart villages will also be developed. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has made 44 lakh houses available to the people of the state. Madhya Pradesh is becoming a power station of development. The development so far was only the trailer, the film is still remaining. In order to make Madhya Pradesh a progressive, prosperous, thriving state, activities will continue for the welfare of the villages, poor, labourers, farmers, exploited, oppressed, Dalits, tribals and forest dwellers and in the coming time we will get to see a new Madhya Pradesh.
Farmer brothers should not worry: CM
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari has made the impossible possible. With his initiative and guidance, world class roads have been made available to the entire country including the state. The previous government did not pay attention to roads, water and electricity. Our government has planned and connected 80 percent of the state’s farms with irrigation facilities. Irrigation is being done not only by canals but also by pipes. Jawar Micro Lift Scheme, Chhaigaon-Makhan, Khalwa Micro Lift have important role in enhancing the irrigation facility of the area. Soon the foundation stone of Rs 1385 crore 73 lakh Jhirnya scheme and Bhoomi Pujan of Rs 3 thousand 715 crore Morand-Ganjal project will be performed.
