Former Deputy Collector Nisha Bangre has given a big statement regarding the elections. She has said that she will file the nomination and contest the assembly elections. If she is stopped, she will commit suicide by fasting unto death. Bangre could contest elections from Amla seat of Betul.
Former Deputy Collector Nisha Bangre released a video statement on Thursday and said that I will file nomination and also contest the elections in the upcoming assembly elections. Even after this, if my nomination is rejected due to malicious sentiments or my resignation is rejected and I am prevented from contesting the elections, then I would rather sacrifice my life by going on a fast unto death than living without my rights.
Accused of harassing the government
She told how she was prevented by a letter from the government from going to the all-religion prayer organized in the inauguration program of her own house and from seeing the ashes of Lord Buddha and when she resigned after being hurt by this, she was being harassed in various ways. She had resigned so that she could participate in the program organized at her home.
Outrage over harassing Dalit female officer
Nisha Bangre said that when she approached the High Court for justice, the government misled the court and even after the order of the High Court, initiated a departmental inquiry against her for attending the program at her home contrary to the GAD circular. And then her resignation was rejected citing the same investigation. However, she did not tell from which party she would contest the elections or whether she would contest as an independent candidate.
