- EVMs checked, officials take stock of preparations at polling stations
Bhopal: Election Commission has made all necessary preparations for voting in the state on November 17. EVMs were checked and mock drills were also held.
In Bhopal, Collector Ashish Singh and Municipal Commissioner Frank Noble conducted an inspection of the polling stations in the district on Wednesday, assessing the preparations for the upcoming voting scheduled for Friday, November 17, from 7 am to 6 pm. Notably, the officials visited various polling centers in constituencies such as Bhopal South-West, Narela, and Govindpura. They provided instructions to officials in these areas to ensure all essential arrangements are in place at the polling centers.
The emphasis was on guaranteeing a seamless and uninterrupted voting process, and officials were directed to oversee that the arrangements at polling stations meet these criteria. Additionally, the officials issued other necessary instructions to ensure a well-organized and efficient electoral process.
