The date of Ekadashi has great importance in Sanatan Dharma. This day is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. On this day, God, the sustainer of the world, is worshiped with rituals. Along with this, fast is also observed. This year, Devuthani Ekadashi falls on 23rd November.
It is told in the scriptures that on the date of Devuthani Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu wakes up from sleep in Ksheer Sagar. Auspicious works also start from this day. According to astrologers, many auspicious yogas are being formed simultaneously on Devuthani Ekadashi. By worshiping Lord Vishnu in these yogas, one gets success in all tasks and every wish is fulfilled. Acharya Lokesh Sharma of Shri Bajrang Temple Pampapur said that the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month will start tonight i.e. on November 22 at 11:03 pm. This date will end on November 23 at 9.01 am. Udaya Tithi is considered in Sanatan Dharma. Therefore, the fast of Devuthani Ekadashi will be observed on 23rd November. Ravi Yoga is forming. This yoga will last from 06:50 am in the morning to 05:16 pm. Astrologers consider Ravi Yoga very auspicious. In this yoga, by worshiping Lord Vishnu, the creator of the world, one gets the desired results. Siddhi Yoga is being formed on Devuthani Ekadashi. This yoga is being formed from 11.54 am till 9.05 am the next day i.e. on 24th November.
