UTS on mobile app is becoming popular among passengers

  • More than 89 thousand passengers use mobile app in 25 days
  • Railways received revenue of Rs 17.5 lakhs
  • Increase in rail ticket sales recorded through app

A comprehensive awareness campaign is being run by commercial railway personnel in the division to use the UTS mobile app in the Bhopal railway division. According to railway officials, the use of UTS on mobile app by railway passengers is increasing rapidly.

This means of purchasing railway tickets has started becoming popular among railway passengers. Many people are using this mobile app, due to which there has been an increase in rail ticket sales through the app. In the last 25 days (from 01 to 25 November) in Bhopal Railway Division, 89228 passengers booked their tickets through UTS on Mobile App, due to which the Railways earned a revenue of Rs 17,60,645.

The facility of UTS on mobile app is available for online unreserved train ticket booking at all stations of Bhopal division. The objective of launching UTS On Mobile App is to encourage digital ticketing mode, promote self-ticketing and ensure that passengers can purchase tickets without facing the hassle of queues.

2- Issue and renew season tickets.
3- Both paper tickets and paperless tickets can be obtained.
4- Check R-Wallet balance.
5- Surrender R-Wallet and receive money at any station.
6- Use profiles as per requirement.
7- Check the details of booked tickets.
= How to use the mobile app
1. Login to book tickets.
2. Login ID Register in mobile number.
3. Use the four-digit password received through message.
4. Use R-Wallet to book tickets.
5. Currently, Railways also gives 3 percent bonus on recharging R-Wallet.
6. R-Wallet can be supported through Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI or UTS. Recharge through the counter in multiples of Rs 100 with a minimum of Rs 100 and a maximum of Rs 9500.

= Passengers traveling on unreserved tickets are appealed to promote the use of UTS on the mobile ticketing app and avail the benefits associated with its use. This will increase the use of digital and passengers will get rid of long lines.
