Patna, Dec 3 (UNI) National spokesman of BJP and former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain on Sunday claimed that allies of Congress were also celebrating the victory of BJP in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Hussain told media persons here that Congress was not giving much importance to its allies in newly floated alliance INDIA.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar who had initiated the move to unite opposition parties at national level, was not made Convener of INDIA, he pointed out.
“Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Kamalnath had refused to recognise SP leader Akhilesh Yadav, saying who is Akhilesh- Wakhilesh,” BJP leader said adding that allies were feeling sidelined by Congress.
As per his feedback, allies of Congress were internally celebrating victory of BJP and they were beating drums, he claimed.
Shahnawaz said that there was no challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was all set to become PM for third term in 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
BJP would cross 400 mark in 2024, he claimed.
