Seat-sharing to be finalised by Jan end: Kumaraswamy

New Delhi, Dec 21 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Thursday said the seat-sharing arrangement between JDS and BJP will be finalised by January end.

“There is no confusion with regard to seat-sharing between the two parties. We will sit together and decide who will contest from which constituency,” he told reporters after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence here.

Kumaraswamy was accompanied by his father Deve Gowda, his elder brother HD Revanna and Prajwal Revanna who is Hassan MP and former PM’s grandson.

Replying to a query, Kumaraswamy said his party could either gain or lose a seat, but what mattered was mutual trust, and the party wanted to see Modi win the third term at the centre. He also said his party would ask for seats where it can win.

“We have a report on the constituencies where we can win… We will work together to ensure Prime Minister Narendra Modi is elected for a third term,” he said.
