On the occasion of Christmas, a candle march was taken out at St. Thomas Cathedral Orthodox Church in Ashoka Garden, which reached the church through various routes. Here prayers and religious songs took place before Lord Jesus Christ. The church is very beautifully decorated on Christmas. Apart from this, Christmas festival is being celebrated with great pomp in other churches of the city also. Preparations for the Christmas festival have been completed in the church. This church is considered to be the biggest church in Madhya Pradesh. This church has now got the status of cathedral. It has been built on the lines of churches built in Kerala. Its design has been prepared by Kerala architect Umman. The length of this three-storey church is 165 feet and width is 55 feet. In this, about two thousand people can sit together and pray.
