Bhopal, On the occasion of World Cancer Day, cancer awareness programs were organized by the students of Radharaman Institute of Nursing. Rally and street drama were prominent among these programs.
This rally was taken out from Radharaman Group to the Primary Health Center located at Ratibal. Through these programs, nursing students provided information to the public about the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cancer.
The nodal officer of the primary health center of the area was the chief guest of the program. This event was organized under the leadership of college principal Dr. Venice Maria.
Assistant Professor Dr. Samar Hasan, Assistant Professor Professor Shwata Rai, Nursing Staff and Nursing students were present in the program.
Radharaman Group Chairman RR Saxena said that cancer is a big health problem not only in India but all over the world. Lakhs of people lose their lives due to its delayed diagnosis. Such awareness programs alert people about this disease which can save many lives.
