New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) The Congress on Friday welcomed the Supreme Court granting interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and hoped that former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren also gets due justice.
In a video message, Chairman, Media & Publicity Department, AICC, Pawan Khera, even advised Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reflect on the kind of politics he indulged in post-June 4, sitting in the Sabarmati Ashram.
Khera said, “We welcome the intervention by the Supreme Court in granting bail to Arvind Kejriwal.”
“We also hope that the Prime Minister gets enough time after June 4, when he becomes the former Prime Minister of India, to introspect sitting in the Sabarmati Ashram and the kind of politics he has indulged in,” the senior Congress leader said.
“We hope that the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, also gets due justice,” he added.
The Supreme Court on Friday granted interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal until June 1 in the Delhi Excise Policy case.
