Bhopal: Chief Election Officer Mr. Anupam Rajan has informed that the process of filing nomination papers for the by-election in Assembly Constituency No. 123 Amarwara (ST) of Chhindwara district is going on from June 14, 2024. On June 18, the third day of submission of nomination papers, 3 nomination papers were submitted by 2 candidates. From June 14 till now, four nomination papers have been filed by three candidates.
Rajan has informed that the last date for filing nomination papers is June 21, 2024. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on June 24. The last date for withdrawal of nomination is June 26. Voting will be held on July 10. Counting of votes will be held on July 13.
Rajan informed that the affidavits and other information of the candidates who have filed nomination papers can be seen on the link of the Election Commission of India website https://affidavit.eci.gov.in/.
