New Delhi, June 21 (UNI) Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Friday said paper leak has become a national problem under the BJP rule and the party’s corruption is weakening the country.
Posting on the microblogging site X, Vadra said, “In the last 5 years, papers of 43 recruitment exams have been leaked in the country. Paper leak has become a national problem of our country under BJP rule which has so far ruined the future of crores of youth”.
Accusing the BJP government of making the youngest country of the world weak, the Congress leader said, “We have the largest youth population. Instead of making these youth skilled and capable, the BJP government is making them weak.”
She said millions of promising students were studying day and night while their parents have been bearing the burden of their children education costs.
She further said, “Students have been waiting for years for vacancies and when they are announced, they have to pay for their application forms, pay for their travel to their examination centres and at the end all efforts go waste due to corruption”.
It may be mentioned that Rahul Gandhi a day before had raised the paper leak issues and had said that the Opposition will not let the government off the hook on this crucial matter and the responsibility will have to be fixed and the guilty punished.
In another post, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra showed concern over the floods in Assam and urged the state government to speed up the relief and rescue operations for the flood affected people and also compensate the families of the deceased.
She also appealed to the Congress workers and leaders to help the affected people in every possible way.
