- Dr. Yadav pays floral tribute to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his Balidan Diwas
Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that great leader Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee played a big role in relation to the challenges faced by the country before and immediately after independence. Assessing the horror of the partition of Bengal and understanding the challenge of Jammu and Kashmir in time was possible only for a great man like Dr. Mukherjee. He became the Vice Chancellor of Kolkata University at the age of 33, and then assuming the post of minister is a sign of his intelligence. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said this in his address after paying floral tribute and garland to the statue of Dr. Mukherjee, the founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, located near the BJP office, on his Balidan Diwas.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Dr. Mukherjee resigned from the post of minister with the aim of drawing the attention of the entire country towards Jammu and Kashmir. He announced in Kolkata that he will do whatever he can for Jammu and Kashmir and he did what he said. Dr. Mukherjee drew everyone’s attention towards the big challenge of the future facing the country. It is our responsibility to bring forth the heroic aspects of his life. Dr. Yadav said that the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is a true tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. We are all grateful to Prime Minister Shri Modi.
