Gorakhpur, July 6 (UNI) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday directed the officials to address concerns of people with utmost seriousness, sensitivity and attention.
The CM met about 400 people at the Janata Darshan held at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan in Gorakhnath temple during which he emphasized the need for strict legal action against those who illegally encroach on people’s land, or attempt to harm or oppress the vulnerable.
After listening to the problems of the people patiently, he gave necessary directions to the officials present to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution to each of their issues.
Referring the complaints to the concerned officials, Yogi assured the people of the government’s determination to dispose of the problems of every victim expeditiously.
People from other districts also attended the Janata Darshan. The number of women meeting the CM to express their grievances was significantly higher than that of men.
He directed the disposal of land-grabbing cases with complete transparency and fairness. “If the mafia is forcibly occupying someone’s land, he should be punished as per law,” he said.
Yogi assured of full assistance to those seeking financial help for medical treatment from the government. He directed the officials concerned to submit the treatment cost estimates to the government promptly.
He also emphasised that matters related to revenue and police should be resolved with complete transparency and impartiality. He warned the officials against any sort of negligence and insensitivity in resolving people’s issues under any circumstances.
He stressed that addressing every individual’s issues with commitment and transparency is the government’s top priority and any form of carelessness will not be accepted.
Regarding complaints related to the Police and Revenue departments, the CM said that the officials should ensure the resolution of issues at the district level itself so that people do not face inconvenience.
