Industrial Conclave will encourage local industry: CM

Bhopal: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that giving priority to investment promotion, the state government has decided to celebrate the year 2025 as the Industry Year. The Regional Industrial Conclave is being organised with the objective of enhancing the role of entrepreneurship in advancing the state and national economy by solving the problems faced by local industries and fostering their growth. The Industrial Conclave to be held in Jabalpur will encourage industrial activities in Jabalpur and surrounding districts. The government is committed to ensure equal development in all regions of the state by connecting entrepreneurs from outside with local entrepreneurs. Employment-oriented activities will be specially encouraged according to local conditions in the fields of agriculture, employment, trade and tourism etc. Dr. Yadav was communicating with the officials and industrialists of industrial associations of Jabalpur, Katni, Mandla, Dindori and Narsinghpur through video conferencing from Samatva Bhavan in connection with the Regional Industrial Conclave to be held in Jabalpur on July 20.

Possibilities in furniture cluster

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that along with providing necessary training of various skills to the youth for value addition of mineral wealth and other natural resources available in the state, arrangements will be made for their better linkage for trade and business. Due to this, maximum benefit in business will go to the local people. He said that in Jabalpur district, 5 developed industrial areas and one under-development industrial area are located on more than 640 hectares of land, in which 514 MSME units are working.

CM said there are also many employment possibilities in the IT Park developed in Jabalpur. Along with this, there is a lot of potential in furniture cluster, new garment cluster, food processing based industries, mining and mineral processing and pharma units. Through the Regional Industry Conclave, the people of the region will be able to see industrial development taking concrete shape in front of them. This process will continue continuously. Industrialists from other parts of the country are also being invited for investment and industrial activities.
