Bhopal: Minister for Labour Welfare Prahlad Patel has said arrangements would be made in the larger interest of workers to ensure wage revision of workers in every five years. He was discussing issues relating to workers’ welfare with a delegation of the BharatiyaMazdoorSangh the other day.
Shri Patel said that the central and state governments are paying attention to workers’ health and skill development, as well as the education and skill development of their children. The central and state governments have provided all possible assistance to workers in cases of accidents and serious illness. For the first time in the country, the provision of issuingunique PF (Provident Fund) identity cards to workers has been made under the guidance of Prime Minister NarendraModi.
