New Delhi, July 30 (UNI) Sonu Sood marked his 51st birthday by announcing the release date of his directorial debut, “Fateh,” co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez. The cybercrime thriller is set to hit theatres on January 10, 2025, with a new poster featuring Sood and Fernandez released to mark the occasion.
The actor celebrated his birthday with fans by unveiling the film’s release date and sharing posters on his social media handles. One poster features Sood in a sharp suit against the backdrop of a river bridge, while another shows him with Fernandez in a suspenseful setting. Both posters prominently display the release date, January 10. Sood captioned his post, “Be ready for the Nation’s best action film.”
Fans and admirers responded enthusiastically to the announcement, flooding the comment sections with emojis and birthday wishes. Sood was last seen hosting the 19th and 20th seasons of MTV Roadies and appeared in the film “Samrat Prithviraj.” Fernandez is set to debut on OTT with the Jio Cinema series “GOATs,” where she will star alongside Neil Nitin Mukesh in a high school drama. She will also feature in “Welcome To The Jungle,” an Ahmed Khan directorial set for a Christmas 2024 release, which stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Raveena Tandon, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, and Tusshar Kapoor.
