New Delhi, Aug 9 (UNI) The Supreme Court has announced the launch of Hackathon 2024.
Chief Justice DY Chandrachud said, “The main theme of 2024 is to explore solutions based on AI, this time two problems are given for innovative minds ….this time we are trying to make everything AI based to remove defects in the records etc.”
The CJI said, “There is no age limit for participation in the Hackathon, all innovative young minds should participate. By young minds, I don’t mean young by age. 2nd hackathon of Supreme Court of India in association with MyGov is live,” CJI DY Chandrachud announced.
“This time the hackathon will focus on the use of AI to streamline the functioning of the Registry for things like removal of defects and formatting and sorting of petitions. So we are completely moving to an AI based model. So I request all the innovative young minds to please participate. This is no bar for age but (smiles). Last date to submit is August 31 and the assessment will be done on September 14”, the CJI said.
