- CM says during inauguration of grand Tiranga Yatra in Bhopal
Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr mohan Yadav has remarked that, in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call, the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan has filled the state with the national flag. He emphasized that the entire nation is celebrating Independence Day with great enthusiasm. Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, both the country and the state are progressing.
The grand Tiranga Yatra commenced from Subhash Nagar ROB in Bhopal, with thousands of citizens taking part. During the event, the CM extended his wishes to the people of the state and the nation for the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. Notable attendees included Cooperative Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Sarang, Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai, MP VD Sharma, two-time Olympic bronze medalist Vivek Sagar from the Indian hockey team, and Arjun Awardee Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, a two-time Olympian in shooting. Both athletes were honored during the event.
Yatra welcomed from 101 platforms
The Tiranga Yatra was celebrated from approximately 101 platforms, with school children and athletes marching proudly while waving the tricolor amidst the monsoon rain and patriotic music. The atmosphere in the Subhash Nagar area was filled with patriotism, featuring school children dressed as freedom fighters, girls embodying Bharat Mata, and school bands playing spirited tunes. The Yatra received a warm welcome from people of all communities, local residents, sports clubs, students from schools and colleges, and various social organizations, who showered flowers in celebration.
