- No compensation received, eligible people are not getting the benefit of PM Housing Scheme
Adnan Khan, Salamatpur
The government built some houses by showing the dream of having their own house, but even today many poor people are living in huts and waiting for the approval of PM Awas. And now while waiting, their kutcha houses have also started collapsing. Its latest example is seen in the village Mushkabad of Gram Panchayat Ambari under Sanchi district, where the needy have not got the benefit of PM Awas Yojana and they are forced to live by covering their kutcha houses with plastic sheets. Now, due to the rainy season, their problems have increased again. But still these people are not getting the benefit of the schemes. The residents have informed the responsible people about this problem many times, but the situation remains the same. Now the residents of the working class have appealed to the Raisen Collector for help. Now it remains to be seen how long it takes for these poor laborers to get a permanent house.
A part of my kutcha house collapsed 15 days ago. And no one in our village has benefited from the Kutir Yojna. We are forced to live in kutcha houses. Due to the rainy season, we have to live in kutcha houses by covering them with plastic sheets. Water is dripping in the house. I have complained about this problem to the Panchayat many times. But they just say that your name is on the list. You will get the benefit of the Kutir Yojna soon. But even after many years, no benefit has been received.
