PM Modi hails Indian space sector

New Delhi, Aug 25 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday hailed India’s space missions saying the youth of the nation have benefited a lot from the space sector reforms.

“A lot is happening in Bharat of the 21st century that is strengthening the foundation of a developed Bharat” PM Modi said while addressing his 113th Episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

Touching upon the achievements made by the country’s space sector, Modi said On August 23, the countrymen celebrated the first National Space Day. Last year, on this day, Chandrayan-3 had made a successful landing on the southern part of the moon at the Shiv-Shakti point.

“India became the first nation of the world to achieve this pride filled accomplishment” he added.

Calling the Space ecosystem very vibrant, Prime Minister Modi also interacted with a team from Spacetech Start-Up GalaxEye which was launched by the alumni of IIT-Madras.
