- Closing ceremony of the 39th session of IATO: MP bags Best Promotional Publication by State Award
Bhopal: Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, India will become the economic superpower of the world by the year 2047. IATO will play an important role in bringing the tourism revolution in the country and Madhya Pradesh. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla was addressing the closing ceremony of the 39th session of IATO at Hotel Taj.
Shukla said that promotion of tourist destinations is very important to attract tourists. Through this session, the members of IATO will get to know the tourism of Madhya Pradesh closely and will give information about it to the tourists.
Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi said that IATO will play an important role in increasing the number of tourists in MP.
IATO President Rajiv Mehra gave the welcome address. He also assured to bring more number of tourists to Madhya Pradesh on behalf of IATO members. IATO President Rajiv Mehra presented the statue of Lord Krishna to Deputy Chief Minister Shukla and Minister of State Lodhi as a mark of respect.
Best Promotional Publication by State Award to MP
IATO honoured the states and institutions doing remarkable work in the field of tourism. In this, Madhya Pradesh was honoured with the Best Promotional Publication by State Award. Additional Managing Director of Tourism Board, Ms. Bidisha Mukherjee received the award.
On the concluding day of the programme, renowned standup comedian Sungdha Mishra performed and entertained the people present in the conference hall with her mimicry style.
