New Delhi, Sep 4 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh on Wednesday said that terror is being spread in the name of ‘cow vigilantes’ and accused the BJP of instigating such incidents.
Addressing the media, Singh highlighted a recent Faridabad incident and said, “The Prime Minister of the country does not say a word on all such matters. The BJP remains silent on such murders. The BJP government of Haryana also remains silent on such murders.”
“This clearly means that the BJP government of Haryana itself is sponsoring such murders and giving them protection. The Haryana government is behind these violent actions,” he alleged.
The AAP MP further claimed, “These people who call themselves so-called ‘Gau Rakshaks’ (Cow Vigilantes) are working under the protection of the BJP and the Haryana government.”
Singh pointed to several incidents, alleging, “BJP’s entire politics is based solely on dividing Hindus and Muslims. Their minds are filled with hatred. The Haryana government and BJP are complicit in these murders.”
“BJP has initiated the ‘bulldozer culture’ in the country. The Supreme Court recently made a very stern comment on this bulldozer politics. There are legal provisions for filing cases and punishing crimes. But how can you demolish someone’s house like this?” he questioned.
“I repeatedly say that the bulldozer is not a relative of anyone. These bulldozers are very unfaithful. When a bulldozer runs on a Muslim’s house in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, the BJP members celebrate and distribute laddus.
Then the same bulldozers ran on ancient temples in Kashi and the houses of more than 300 people were demolished. After this, the houses of more than 4,000 people were demolished in Ayodhya. Many temples were demolished. Will these people develop the country?” he asked.
“AAP opposes any kind of injustice with Dalits, tribals, backwards, Muslims or Hindus. In the last 10 years, 49 incidents took place in the name of cow protection, in which 55 people were killed and 94 were injured. Most of these incidents have happened in BJP-ruled states,” he alleged.
