Beirut, Sep 14 (UNI) An Israeli drone struck a building in southern Lebanon, killing one person and wounding four others, the Lebanese Health Ministry’s emergency operations center said in a statement.
“One person was killed and four were wounded when an Israeli drone struck a building in the Ahmadiya settlement in the southern part of western Bekaa,” the center said.
The situation on the Israeli-Lebanese border escalated after Israel started hostilities in Gaza in October 2023. The Israel Defense Forces and Hezbollah fighters conduct attacks almost daily on each other’s positions in areas along the border.
