New Delhi, Sep 17 (UNI) Following the Aam Aadmi Party’s decision to choose Delhi Minister Atishi as the new Chief Minister, senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia on Tuesday said it is now Atishi’s responsibility to protect the people of Delhi from the “terror of BJP”.
Sisodia alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s BJP tried to topple the government by making false accusations against Arvind Kejriwal.
In a social media post on X, Sisodia said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi hatched a very dirty political conspiracy and made false allegations against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other AAP leaders. He sent them to jail, questioned their integrity, and tried to topple the government.”
Mentioning that Atishi has been given the responsibility of Chief Minister of Delhi until the elections, Sisodia said, “Arvind Kejriwal has resigned from the post of Chief Minister and announced that he will go to the court of the people.”
“The people of Delhi are deeply hurt by Arvind ji’s resignation and Modi ji’s conspiracy. Many people are crying, and they want Arvind ji to become CM again,” he said.
“Today, Atishi has two main tasks: she has to work with the two crore people of Delhi to make Arvind Kejriwal the CM again,” Sisodia said.
“In the next few months, to trouble the people of Delhi, BJP will try its best to end the facilities provided by Kejriwal ji. They will try to stop free electricity, ruin schools and hospitals, stop the distribution of free medicines, and halt the work of cleaning drains and sewers,” he claimed.
“It is Atishi ji’s responsibility to protect the people of Delhi from this terror of the BJP. I have full faith that Atishi ji will fulfill these difficult responsibilities very well. My heartfelt best wishes are with Atishi ji,” Sisodia added.
Reposting his tweet, AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal extended his best wishes to Atishi on being named the new CM.
