Srinagar, Oct 16 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday appointed Nasir Aslam Wani as his Advisor.
Nasir Aslam Wani is hereby appointed as Advisor to the Chief Minister J&K”, Sanjeev Verma the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government said in an order issued here today.
“The terms and conditions of the appointment shall be notified”, the order said.
Wani, a National Conference candidate contested the recent Assembly election from the Kupwara Assembly constituency and lost to People’s Democratic Party candidate Fayaz Ahmad Mir.
Omar took oath as Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister earlier in the day along with Deputy Chief Minister and four cabinet ministers.
