- Party releases list of 40 star campaigners for by-elections in state

On Friday, BJP has released the list of star campaigners for two prestigious assembly by-elections in the state. The name of veteran leader Suresh Pachauri, who left Congress and joined BJP, is not included in the list of 40 star campaigners. The list includes names from Sitaram Adivasi to Vijay Dubey. This list has been prepared keeping in mind both Budhni and Vijaypur seats, in which names of big leaders of the state as well as leaders having a hold at the local level have been included.
The name of BJP state president VD Sharma is at number one in the list, while the name of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is at number two and the name of Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan is at number three. The by-election in Budhni has been held due to Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s resignation from the membership of the Legislative Assembly.
The list of star campaigners includes the names of Shiv Prakash, Union Minister Virendra Kumar Khatik, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Satyanarayan Jatia, Mahendra Singh, Satish Upadhyay and both Deputy Chief Ministers Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla. Apart from this, the names of Ajay Jamwal, Prahlad Patel, Kailash Vijayvargiya, Rakesh Singh, Kunwar Vijay Shah, Faggan Singh Kulaste, Dr. Narottam Mishra, Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya, Gopal Bhargava, Hitanand, Karan Singh Verma, Andal Singh Kansana, Pradyumna Singh Tomar, Rakesh Shukla, Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Ms. Nirmala Bhuria, Lal Singh Arya, Mrs. Krishna Gaur, Narendra Shivaji Patel, Bharat Singh Kushwaha, Shivmangal Singh Tomar, Ranveer Singh Rawat, Dr. Sumer Singh Solanki, Rampal Singh, Narendra Biratharia, Sitaram Adivasi, Mrs. Nirmala Barela, Vijay Dubey and Shrikant Dev Singh have been included.
