Bhopal: The Research Cell in Collaboration with the Department of Management conducted a session on Research Analysis using Jamovi as a Research Tool which was very engaging and informative. The session was part of the Marketing and Market Research curriculum which are Major and Minor Subjects for third semester students. It focused on introducing participants to the functionalities and applications of Jamovi in statistical analysis.
The workshop began with a comprehensive overview of Jamovi, highlighting its user-friendly interface and powerful capabilities for data analysis. Mrs Tanuja encouraged active participation, making the session both interactive and enjoyable. Participants were engaged in hands-on activities, exploring various features of the software, which enhanced their understanding of statistical concepts. The students had done some basic research on various areas and hence this workshop had a very positive impact on their learning.
The session concluded with a Q&A segment, where attendees shared insights and clarified doubts, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Overall, the workshop was a success, leaving participants with valuable knowledge and practical skills in using Jamovi for their research needs. The Session was coordinated by Dr Lila Simon and Dr Mahendra Vishwakarma and this initiative for students was much appreciated by Dr Fr John P J Principal, and Dr Smitha Pillai, Head, Department of Management.
