New Delhi, Nov 12 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday cancelled his election rally in Chikhli in Buldhana district, Maharashtra after his plane developed a technical snag.
Through a video message, Gandhi said. “I was supposed to come to Chikhli today. There I had to meet soybean farmers and address a public rally, but could not come due to technical fault in the plane. I apologise to all of you.”
“I know that farmers in Maharashtra are facing a lot of difficulties. The BJP government in the Maharashtra is not giving the right price to soybean and cotton farmers,” he said.
The Congress leader said, “I want to tell you that as soon as the INDIA bloc government comes to power, we will take care of you and will try to solve your problems immediately”.
