- Mayor does surprise inspection of areas of Zone 2, 4 and 5

Mayor Malti Rai took stock of the cleanliness system by doing a surprise inspection of various areas of Zone 02, 04 and 05.
The Mayor gave instructions to ensure better cleanliness system and to complete the city profile by 20th and submit the recording. The Mayor gave instructions to organize the traffic by removing the encroachment of those doing business by keeping goods in front of hand carts and shops on the main road from Kali Mandir to Moti Masjid, Iqbal Maidan to Royal Market, Bhopal Talkies to DIG Bungalow and Alpana Tiraha, from Railway Station to Kali Mandir and to remove the junk vehicles. During the inspection of Mayor Rai, Additional Commissioners Devendra Chauhan and Harshit Tiwari, Mayor Council member RK Singh Baghel, Assistant Commissioner Kirti Chauhan, councilors and major officials of the zones were present.
Mayor Malti Rai inspected Moti Masjid, Iqbal Maidan, Royal Market, G.A.D. of Zone No. 02, 04 and 05. He inspected various areas including Chauraha, Shaheed Nagar, Shahjahanabad, Hamidia Road, Railway Station, Yadgar-e-Shahjahani, Siddique Hasan Khan Talab and Munshi Hussain Khan Talab and reviewed the cleanliness system and directed to clean the drains in the roads and streets. Mayor Rai directed to collect 100% wet and dry garbage from every house and to keep two dustbins in front of shops compulsorily. Mayor Rai directed to record the city profile of ward no. 23 and 14 etc. immediately to make the cleanliness system more high level and to complete the city profile of all areas by 20th and submit the recording.
During the inspection in Shaheed Nagar, Mayor Rai directed to take action for spot fines on washing vehicles on the road and spoiling the road and creating dirt. Mayor Rai also directed to take action against two building owners in Shaheed Nagar for not following the construction standards and spreading the building material on the road. Mayor Rai expressed displeasure over water flowing from valves at three places near Hamidia Hospital and Over Bridge and dirt on the road and directed to get the valves repaired immediately and to clean the dirt.
Mayor Rai expressed displeasure over the obstruction of traffic and inconvenience caused to citizens due to hand carts and shops doing business by keeping goods in front of them on the main road from Kali Mandir to Moti Masjid, Iqbal Maidan to Royal Market, G.A.D Chauraha, Bhopal Talkies to D.I.G Bungalow and Alpana Tiraha to Railway Station to Kali Mandir and directed to immediately remove the encroachments like carts, goods kept in front of shops etc. from these roads and organize the traffic and take action for spot fine.
