Bal Sabha will be held in govt schools

In the National Education Policy 2020, for the first time, Bal Sabha will be organized every Saturday in government high and higher secondary schools to emphasize on the 21st century skill development of students. Continuous and Comprehensive Learning and Evolution (CCLE) program will be started.

The objective of this program is that students can play the role of active citizens in nation building by getting education in a joyful environment. This program organized in collaboration with the School Education Department focuses on various co-educational and co-curricular activities throughout the year through comprehensive education in schools.

These activities will be done in Bal Sabha

In the Bal Sabha period, students will be made to write essays, newspaper writing, story, poem, drama. Along with this, an annual magazine is also being produced. Apart from this, activities like debate, story, poem recitation, interview practice, logical ability, figure test, music, dance, painting, craft, sculpture are being done prominently. Students involved in these activities will be given marks on the basis of their attendance. According to the calendar of the year, the main topics that have been decided are health, traffic rules, healthy lifestyle, yoga, sports and diet.

Apart from this, the topic of glorious India includes Indian history, books of great personalities, India’s freedom struggle. The Prakhar Bharat theme includes Indian science, environment, disaster management and scientific outlook. Students will also be informed about the provisions of the Constitution, parliamentary system, national symbols, Panchayati Raj and constitutional rights of citizens in the Bal Sabha.
