Woman died due to betel nut getting stuck in her throat

Bhopal: A woman living in a factory in Acharpura located in Eentkhedi police station died under suspicious circumstances. After receiving the post-mortem report and the statement of the family members, the police have registered a case of unintentional murder against the husband. Investigation revealed that at the time of the incident, the husband had beaten the woman, due to which a betel nut got stuck in her throat, causing her death.

According to the information, Seema Jatav wife Sonu Jatav (26) lived in a factory located in Acharpura. Her husband Sonu works and works as a watchman in the same factory. The couple also has two children. Last month on October 13, Seema died under suspicious circumstances. The husband had told the police that when he reached the room, Seema was found unconscious. She was taken to the hospital, where she died. Since the woman was less than thirty years old, she was considered a newly married woman and the investigation was handed over to the SDOP.

The postmortem report also stated the cause of death as suffocation. On this basis, police have registered a case against the husband.

Copyright Act case registered against shopkeeper

Kotwali police has registered a case against a shopkeeper of Jumerati under the Copyright Act and sections of fraud. The shopkeeper was selling empty wrappers of cigarettes of a local company in the name of branded company Gogo. Police has also seized goods worth about 35 thousand rupees from the shop. Sub-inspector Madhav Singh Parihar told that the authorized agency had complained about selling fake goods in the name of branded goods at some shops. It was told in the complaint that cigarette wrappers of a local company were being sold in the name of branded company Gogo at the shop of Pankaj Kotwani in Jumerati. On Wednesday afternoon, when the police team raided the shop, fifteen boxes of cigarette wrappers in the name of Gogo company were seized.
