PM Modi meets US President Joe Biden, Singapore PM on G20 sidelines

Rio de Janeiro/New Delhi, Nov 18 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met US President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, as well as chatted with his Singaporean counterpart Lawrence Wong.

In posts on X, the PM said of his meeting with US President Joe Biden, who steps down in January 2025 to make way for Donald Trump’s presidency.

“With @POTUS Joe Biden at the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro. Always a delight to meet him.”

The two had met during the Quad summit in the US in September.

On his meeting with the Singaporean PM, he posted:

“A wonderful interaction with Prime Minister Lawrence Wong of Singapore during the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro.”

He also met with the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on the sidelines.

“Met UN Secretary General Mr. António Guterres at the Rio G20 Summit. @antonioguterres”
