The state government has transferred 10 officers of the Indian Police Service on Monday. In the latest reshuffle, Inspector General of Police Narmadapuram Zone Irshad Wali has been removed, in his place Mithilesh Kumar Shukla has been made the new IG of Narmadapuram Zone, on the other hand, the Deputy Inspector General of Police of Jabalpur Range has also been changed, not only this, the Superintendents of Police of Singrauli, Chhindwara and Shahdol districts have also been changed.
Atul Singh will be the new DIG of Jabalpur Range, while Ramji Srivastava has been made the new Superintendent of Police of Shahdol and Ajay Pandey of Chhindwara district. The current Superintendent of Police of Chhindwara district Manish Khatri has been removed from Chhindwara and given the command of Singrauli district. Although family reasons are being said to be the main reason behind the removal of Narmadapuram IG Irshad Wali, but his report given regarding the Narmadapuram Collector in a recent case is also being considered as the reason behind his removal. It is being told that the collector had complained about this matter at a high level and the collector’s complaint has probably been heard.
Meanwhile, the complaint made against Shahdol SP Kumar Pratik during the state level function held recently in Shahdol on the occasion of Birsa Munda Jayanti is being considered the reason behind his removal. Singrauli SP Nivedita Gupta had taken strict action against liquor traders and coal traders, she did not take the higher officials into confidence before taking action. Here, public representatives had also complained about her, this is being considered the main reason behind her removal.

The state government has given additional charge of ADG SAF PHQ to Rakesh Gupta, Additional Director General of Police, Special Duty Officer, Chief Minister along with the current responsibilities, similarly Arvind Kumar Saxena, Inspector General of Police, Gwalior Zone, Gwalior has been given additional charge of the post of Inspector General of Police SAF Range Gwalior along with the current responsibilities.
