CM begins UK tour, to visit British Parliament

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has begun his UK tour, aiming to establish the state as a prominent player on the global investment stage. The tour’s primary objectives include attracting foreign investment, promoting global industrial cooperation and engaging the Indian Diaspora in the state’s progress.

Dr. Yadav, on Monday will visit the British Parliament where he will be welcomed and accompanied by British MP Baroness (Sandip K Verma). He will then tour the Parliament with MP Baroness Verma and pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi’s statue at Parliament Square, Westminster.

The Chief Minister will host a lunch at the Taj Hotel, St. James’ Court in honor of British MPs including Baroness Verma, Lord Kulveer Singh and Shri Bob Blackman. He will also meet with British representatives and discuss investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.

CM Dr. Yadav will then visit the King’s Cross site in London, where he will meet with administrative and trade representatives from Madhya Pradesh, as well as Dr. Param Shah from FICCI and CEO of King’s Cross Management, Tom Goodall. They will discuss industrial investment opportunities in the state.

Dr. Yadav, in the evening will take a cruise on the River Thames and later engage in investment-related discussions with the Indian Diaspora and Friends of MP at the Royal National Hotel in London. He will also host a dinner for the guests.
